The PSI Picasso Group Gallery Shop
Christopher Irby
I spent a lot of my life alone. Comic books were always around, so that’s what I drew. When I came to PSI, I said I could draw a little. So, they suggested the Picasso Group. Soon, I started to use materials I’d never used before, like chalk pastels, acrylic landscapes and close up paintings of natural settings. I used mixed media to create different still life. I have also done a little work on the human face and plan to do more of the face and figure. I plan to do more large acrylics and water colors, more murals, like the one I did this year with some masks in it. I also plan to use more bold colors and patterns in my work. When my first piece sold a few years ago, I knew I was an artist with something to say.
